Annual Examinations and Vaccinations for Your Pet

Vaccinations are a quick and simple way to minimize the chance of your pet contracting a contagious or fatal disease. It is important for pets under one year of age to receive a full series of boosters before they are six months old. This gives their immune system a good jump-start in fighting off disease.

As with young pets, it is also important to keep your older pets up-to-date on their yearly vaccinations. Our veterinarians at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital can provide the vaccines that your senior pet needs.

Dogs and cats should be examined by a licensed veterinarian every year*. Even if your pet isn’t showing signs of illness, he/she should be seen by a veterinarian for a checkup, dental cleaning, and vaccination updates. If yearly checkups sound like a lot, remember that one year in a human life is equivalent to nearly seven pet years! Regular checkups help keep your pet in the best health and learn about anything you should be doing to keep your pet happy and healthy.

Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital offers emergency services. Call our friendly staff today to book an appointment!

*If you have an older pet, we recommend bringing your pet every six months instead of the usual once a year checkup.

"This facility is one of the cleanest places with the friendliest staff I’ve ever been to! They cleaned my dog's teeth, microchipped him, and gave him his shots. It was super easy to schedule and my dog came back happy..."
